3D Prototypes of Characters from The Life of Christ
Do you wonder what the different types of people will look like in iBIBLE Life of Christ? Last week looked at how the iBIBLE art team is building key Biblical locations using the new 3D animation style, and this week we take a look at "prototypes" for characters from iBIBLE Life of Christ. While these images aren't final yet, they offer a glimpse into how some of the people in iBIBLE will eventually look.
Here you can see the image of a shepherd, dressed in the traditional garb a person of his occupation and status would have worn in the days of Jesus. Shepherds were considered social outcasts, and yet they were invited to witness the birth of Jesus, Who came for the high and the lowly alike.
Here is a prototype of one of Jesus’ disciples wearing a long blue robe, tunic, and head covering. Next to him is an image of a priest wearing his best clothing. Separate programs are used to create the body, hair, and clothing for these characters, and then the different elements are then meshed together in a way that flows well. You can see how well each aspect comes together in these lifelike character prototypes!
Production of iBIBLE Life of Christ is now underway, with episodes expected to start releasing later this year. iBIBLE Life of Christ will present a harmonized Gospel account that draws exclusively from Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Prayerfully consider helping us keep iBIBLE free to the whole world by making a generous donation today.
