First Look at Bethlehem
Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born, was just a small village about one hundred miles away from Mary and Joseph’s hometown of Nazareth. After the Roman census was decreed (see Luke 2:1), they had to make the hazardous journey to Joseph’s ancestral city to be counted. See the first look of Bethlehem in the new 3D style in this behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of iBIBLE!
Here is a daytime view of Bethlehem, situated on a terraced hill. As you can see, it was a tiny village, and yet was the birthplace of both King David and Jesus, the Messiah.
Another view of Bethlehem depicts it at night with a full moon shedding light on the scene.
Finally, here is a street-level view leading into Bethlehem, giving the viewer a closer sense of the size of the houses, and how rural the village really was.
