Continuing Designs for iBIBLE Genesis Graphic Novel
RevelationMedia is continuing our designs for graphic novels based on each iBIBLE episode. These books will be released in several volumes, eventually spanning all of RevelationMedia’s iBIBLE content. Each spread of the graphic novel, which consists of two pages facing each other, is designed in Adobe Photoshop by a graphic designer. It is then put through several rounds of editing to ensure the text, graphics, and overall images are true to the corresponding iBIBLE episode. This image shows the initial design for Episode 6, Spread 2, with a setting right after the Great Flood.
After the first round of editing, it was decided to move some of the images from the right side to their own individual spreads for more emphasis on those parts of the narrative. This created three total spreads instead of just one for this section of the episode. Below are the two new spreads. These are full-page spreads for clarity and emphasis.
Lastly, in this image, you will see the first spread redesigned with several images and text boxes removed. What was initially one spread was created into three to be more distinct and to emphasize certain aspects of the narrative.
