Jesus's Power Over Demons
During His earthly life, Jesus showed His power over the forces of evil by healing people from the possession of demons. In the iBIBLE Salvation episode, Jesus is shown casting out demons, not for the purpose of glorifying or illustrating these beings, but for the purpose of showing Christ’s Divine power.
The iBIBLE Salvation episode has been titled The Story of Jesus, and it aims to give a complete understanding of Who Jesus is, including His earthly ministry: “Jesus taught the things of God with wisdom and understanding. He healed the sick, fed the multitudes, cast out demons, and even raised the dead” (iBIBLE Salvation episode).
As the scene of Jesus casting out demons was created for the Salvation episode, careful attention was paid to the look of the demons. They needed to be recognizable without becoming the center of attention during the scene—the center being Christ and His power. To accomplish this, the demons that come out of the possessed men are transparent and disappear after only appearing on the screen for one second.
The forces of evil had and still have no chance against God, the Creator of all things (see Mark 5:6–8).
