The Town of Nazareth
A major part of animating iBIBLE Life of Christ is building the key locations that appear in the Gospel narratives. Among the most important towns documented in the New Testament is Nazareth, the small rural town where Jesus was raised. After being born in Bethlehem, the birthplace of King David, Mary and Joseph took Jesus to Egypt to escape from Herod. Later, though, they resettled in Nazareth. In today’s behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making iBIBLE, see these beautiful shots of the 3D model of Nazareth.
This first image shows an overview of the township. This was a very small town, set apart from the larger metropolitan regions of Israel.
Next is a shot of the natural features surrounding Nazareth.
And finally, here is another broad view of Nazareth from a different angle.
